For this final film of the season, a partnership with Micron is bringing STEAM activities for all the kids to enjoy, plus a special screening of Dream Big after the feature film, Encanto. It’s getting darker earlier, so this event starts early enough for even the little kids to come out! Special vendors include Anxo, Everyday Sundae (ice cream!) and Bangin’ BBQ.Â
4:30pm – STEAM Play Area & Community Showcase
6:30pm – Encanto screening begins at dark
8:30pm – Short Film Screening – DREAM BIG: Engineering Our World.
Blankets will be available (if the ground isn’t too wet). Bring your own chairs, picnics, and popcorn, and enjoy this family friendly line-up. The event is free, and all are welcome. The Parks presents Movies on the Lawn, the second season of our film series in partnership with the Home Rule Music and Film Preservation Foundation. The 2022 season is back with four fun films that will pique your curiosity or send you home singing.
