Holiday Tree & Menorah Lighting
Celebrate the holidays with friends and neighbors at a tree and menorah lighting on Saturday, December 14 at The Parks at Walter Reed. Enjoy live music from Imani Grace, the lead vocalist for the Washington National Cathedral’s jazz band. Sing holiday carols, and participate in a non-denominational blessing as the 20-foot tree and 12-foot menorah brighten the night. Decorate cookies, or create a holiday card for the seniors and veterans who live a few blocks away. Warm up with hot beverages, a fire pit, and s’mores. All are welcome at this free event. Â
