Happy Hours on the Plaza

Happy Hour was such fun last year, we’re bringing it back! Don’t miss these low-key Friday evening hang-outs to enjoy a drink, dance, and mingle. The events are free, with beverages and food to purchase (so don’t forget to bring a friend; furry friends welcome). RSVP is required. These events are recommended for ages 21 and up.

The Parks continues to partner with Neighbors DC to curate the region’s best woman- and minority-owned vendors to bring their wares to the events.

LEI MUSUBI Lei Musubi is a small, woman-owned business founded by Vivien Bang, a Maryland native of Korean descent. Vivien was raised in Georgia so everything she does has a hint of southern love! She now serves up her favorite childhood snack to the D.M.V. area (aka DC, MD, & VA) where it’s proven to be a big hit due to Vivien’s new and unique approach! This adventure began when she introduced her recreated version to her friends and family at dinner parties and get-togethers. Soon after, she launched Lei Musubi on a whim in hopes of sharing her take on musubis with the rest of the world. The inspiration behind each musubi flavor option comes from talented chefs from all walks of life, including her most inspirational figure, her umma (mother). Each hand crafted musubi is filled with umami goodness, packed with an abundance of flavor, and a tsunami of texture! With each bite, not only are you satisfying your taste buds, but you are also supporting local farmers and small businesses too.
