Boot Camp at The Parks

Experience The Parks at Walter Reed from home with a series of virtual events broadcast from the Great Lawn.  

Starting May 2, join fitness guru Gym Jonez for a citywide boot camp in your very own living room, porch or stoop. For eight weeks, Gym will lead 45-minute live sessions each Saturday morning, leading you through a proven regimen that’s helped over 200 clients burn fat and build muscle. This fitness series is appropriate for all ages and requires no special equipment except shoes and water to drink. A mat and small weights are helpful, if available. 

Our June 6 session features Durrel Davis from Fort Washington, Md., a colleague of Gym Jonez and a life-long athlete and certified Olympic weight-lifting coach, track and field coach, and yoga instructor. His technical knowledge is immense, and his passion for health, wellness and sports is palpable.
