MVEMNT Presents the Black Food and Wine Festival™ — Picnic Style at The Parks on Saturday, September 5. Sip. Savor. Socialize.
Celebrate the best of African-American cuisine, beverage, and culture at the Black Food and Wine Festival™—a picnic-style afternoon of flavor, music, and community in the heart of DC. Indulge in dishes from Black-owned food vendors, sample Black-owned wines, spirits, and beer, and browse a marketplace featuring Black-owned businesses, all while connecting with fellow food lovers over great food, drinks, and music.
Gates open at 2pm, expect live bands, DJs, cooking demos, photo installations, games, and feel good music all day long — plus plenty of TikTok and Instagram-worthy moments. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and settle in for the day.
Please no: Tents, outside beverages, food, weapons, illegal substances, fireworks, drones, large umbrellas, oversized chairs, pets, or backpacks.
