On Sunday, June 7 from 4:30–6:30pm, East Rock Creek Village is hosting a live jazz concert at the Marketplace Plaza at The Parks at Walter Reed.
East Rock Creek Village is celebrating their 10th anniversary! Come out for an afternoon of live music, connection, and community on Sunday June 7, 2026 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm in Marketplace Plaza. Enjoy a free, open-air concert featuring DC jazz vocalist James Zimmerman and his fantastic five-piece band. Seating for seniors and light refreshments will be available. This event is free and open to the public, and all are welcome! Bring a friend, a folding chair, and your love of great music!
The concert will take place at The Parks at Walter Reed Marketplace Plaza (Georgia Avenue & Dahlia Street NW) across the street from the new Whole Foods Market. Seating and light refreshments will be available. Parking is available on nearby streets or in the Whole Foods Market garage (enter on Dahlia St) with a validated ticket.

Jazz on the Plaza is hosted by East Rock Creek Village, a volunteer-powered nonprofit helping neighbors age well at home—with connection, support, and purpose.
