The Parks is planned to include 130,000 square feet of retail, 20,000 square feet of creative and cultural uses, 325,000 square feet of office, medical and educational, and a hotel/conference center.

Over 2,200 distinctive condos, townhomes and apartments will be developed at The Parks serving a diverse mix of incomes, ages and households. 400+ units on-site will be designated as affordable.
The Park’s redevelopment plan is built on a foundation of environmental sustainability, employing tools for energy and water conservation, alternative forms of transport, and recycled and local construction materials to minimize the environmental impact of development.
As part of the project’s community development goals, several nonprofit groups including DC International School, HELP USA, Howard University Hospital, and SOME will develop new facilities at The Parks.
