Be a part of history and defend the Nation’s Capital! Join us on Saturday, July 13 (10 am-3 pm) for the 160th commemoration of the Battle of Fort Stevens. The event will feature music, speakers, living history reenactors, and more!

As a small 501(c)(3) non-profit, we rely on donations from history lovers like you to fulfill our mission to preserve and educate year-round about the Civil War Defenses of Washington. This year for the Fort Stevens commemoration, we received a grant from Humanities DC for which we need to provide a match. And in addition to financial donations, we seek volunteers to help us.
